No they don't
They are closed on Sundays.

I don't believe so. It's phone orders or in person. The mochi have a short shelf life, like two days if they contain fresh fruit
Yes, you should keep them cold, but they only stay at peak freshness for a day or two. Still good after that, but the berries are very ripe and perfect for eating when you get them.
No
I doubt they ship
I doubt they do that, but you could ask.
This place is a must stop when in Hilo! The local handmade delicacies are amazing! The strawberry covered mochi is the bomb!!
I wish I lived near here all the time, but then I'd have to have some self control! The mochi is so fresh it nearly melts on your tongue. There was a line by the time they opened and longer by the time I got my order. Well, well worth it. You can't take them out of the state, so enjoy every morsel while you are here!!!
Mochi is second to none. Those strawberry and the brownie mochi's are to die for. A bit of a wait for our custom order (20 min) but well worth it.
Sweet place! If you love Mochi this is the place! Aloha! Family owned!
Great place for omiyage (gifts) for those who love sweets. The strawberry mochi ones are the most famous, but the strawberry shortcake is the winner! Just make sure you bring cash as they don't take credit cards. Parking is out front and they do take phone orders if you know what you want.
A funky little shop with the best mochi around. Cash only, so bring plenty. Their strawberry mocha is awesome. They make them fresh while you wait. There is always a line, so give yourself time.
This place is awesome. It takes me back to when I lived in Japan. The mochi is absolutely delicious and made with hard work and love. You are able to take back every type of Mochi they have except for the fruit stuffed (strawberry and grape). However, the fruit flavored ones are fine. My husband absolutely loves Mochi so I was glad I was able to bring him back some.
Amazing Fruit Mochi experience!! Strawberry was the best one!! Must try dessert :)
Was recommended to try mochi from this place by a friend who used to work here. I did not leave disappointed! Must try the fresh fruit mochi and basically all the other mochi. There's a line out the door because its a small shop and only one of the two ladies at the register. Make sure to bring cash because it is CASH ONLY. All the mochi is made fresh and meant to be eaten immediately. Great spot and definitely a place to eat at in hilo.
So good! The butter mochi and strawberry mochi were my favorites! The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and the mochi is unlike any other I've had.
Cash only!Stood in a line on a Saturday at 9:53am waiting for the shop to open at 10:00am. (4th party in line)The staff here is so friendly and patient. Aunty who takes the orders is the sweetest one! I love her! Mochi is freshly made to order. If you are in a hurry, pre-ordering is the best way to go. You don't have to wait in line. When I left at 10:23am, line was 15-20 people out the door.
Long time local favorite mochi shop. I didn’t have high expectations as most mochi place make them way too sweet to my liking. I was pleasantly surprised when I bit into the purple sweet potato mochi and it didn’t taste like sugar. There’s decent amount of real sweet potato inside, the taste is very subtle but you can tell it’s not artificial.
Amazing mochi and pretty quick service, can’t go wrong with any of the flavors!
Considered the best mochi in the Big Island, the shop has short hours. It closes at 2pm. The mochi can also be bought in the KTA supermarket. I would say the mochi is good but I have had better ones. The shop also does not take credit card and you cannot preorder.
Such great little snacks! The strawberry mochi was very fresh and refreshing. I like how the mochi dough was not too thick as it sometimes is when you get it at the grocery. Also tried the lilikoi and mango flavor. Both were light and also refreshing choices.
It's whole fruit inside mochi, but yes it is very tasty!
Visited here after receiving recommendations from friends. Our favourite was the fresh strawberry mochi and the liliko (passionfruit) mochi (rectangular yellow one). We had to wait a while since we visited on Valentine's Day (about 15 mins). Not sure what the wait is usually like.
One of those local hole in the walls that serves wonderful food! Call ahead so you don’t have to wait. Then grab your beautiful mochi and go!
Best mochi on the island. No clue what flavor this was but it was YUMMY! Be aware that fruit mochi cannot be taken to the mainland. Also, be prepared to wait unless you order ahead. Worth the wait in line!
It’s the best Mochi we ever had! They deserve more than 5 stars and the owner sometimes will give you more than you ask for. Love this place! We will definitely be back when visiting here next time
The staff is amazing, friendly and provides great customer service. They hand out free samples which all of them were amazing. We go the strawberry 🍓, pear, lychee, poha, and strawberry shortcake. We drove 1 1/2 just to get their mochi. 😀
Delicious mochi can be purchased here!!! Always a line up, but totally worth it. Make sure to have cash, they don’t take cards
Such friendly staff, and the mochi are huge and full of fresh fruit or other great stuffings. You can't go wrong. Definitely get more than u think you'll eat, because you'll wind up smashing way more of these into your face than you originally anticipated.
Yummy mochi. There is a wait but it is worth it. They have phone order. They have samples while we were waiting in line.
Cute little shop with unique fresh fruit mochi. We were welcomed with good size samples and we purchased a box of six - strawberry, passion fruit, pie crust, peach, apple and grape. They even gave us an extra strawberry mochi because they felt the strawberry was a little small. So far we tried the pie crust and passion fruit and both are great - not too sweet but definitely fruity. Be sure to bring cash and find some street parking.
Mochi. the best Mochi in town. the best Mochi on the island. heck the best in the state.
Amazing small little mochi shop with many tropical fruity flavors. This is such a treat because I usually don't see these types of flavors elsewhere. Attached is the menu. They also open throughout New Year so definitely check it out (even though it might say on Maps that it's closed)
We got there early in the morning and only waited a few minutes to purchase and place our order. The staff was friendly and the mochi was absolutely delicious 🤤
The best mochi. We always stop by here when on the Big Island. The strawberry mochi is amazing as are all the other fruit mochi.
Line is always out the door, but definitely worth the wait. These ladies have the freshest, most delicious mochi I have ever eaten. Buy extra to share, you won't want to give yours up. They have amazingly unusual flavors too!
Tasty and friendly! We ordered 4 but they ended up giving us 6 at the same price. Highly recommend the strawberry one!
Amazingly fresh mochi. Filled with fresh ingredients and fruit!
LOVED everything about this place. Their mochi is the best EVER! they hand make them to order and their flavors are amazing. Definitely try the fresh fruit ones, the strawberry was the best (and huge), also the clementine and shortcake ones were so good! The brownie mochi was amazing too. Also got the lilikoi mochi but it wasn’t super flavorful. The wait is long but SO worth it. Super small hole-in-the-wall type place but those are always the best and this Two ladies kitchen definitely proves that!! Will be a frequent place for me when visiting the big island!
Very pleasant service and as usual ono mochi. We later learned that we had a surprise with our order. 💖🙂
The grape and the strawberry were great. Visited on a thursday afternoon, no lines and everything in stock.
Best of freshly made muchi to test.
Oh My Goodness!! Mochi's this AWESOME should be illegal. To me, they are ALL good! My personal favorites are the fresh fruit Mochis...but park the variety pack in front of me, and I can eat all of it!! :) By the way, they make it fresh... YEeeSs!
It's worth the drive over to Hilo to get some of their mochi! They have unique combinations filled with fresh fruit...so tasty! Cute little shop to take some treats with you.
Wonderfully moorish sweet treats in the most unlikely of places. Get a sampler plate and try to get the daifuku (strawberry)
Mochi!!! Tons of variety and not too pricy. Their fruit mochi are pretty great! Definitely stop by if you're in Hilo!!
Excellent mochi/manju
Quality mochis. Variety of choices in fillings and styles. All fresh and amazingly tender
Awesome place. The young man who helped us was very friendly and patient while we made our selections. For anyone who complains about the wait time, you should understand this is a small local business. They are making this mochi by hand every day, it isn't some cookie cutter operation. Every second we waited was worth it. This is the most delicious, soft and flavorful mochi I've ever had. There are so many to pick from! The nectarine, grape and strawberry were amazing. My favorite was the strawberry shortcake mochi. Definitely give this place a try!!
Best and freshest mochi I have ever had! We are from Los Angeles, and my teen daughter introduced me to this place. It was one of our must go-to places while in HILO..
This place is a must visit. It’s a very small place, with a line out the door. We got there right before the rush, so we waited about three minutes. The ones behind us probably waited for 15 or 20 minutes. The mochi had a nice consistency. The strawberry ones are quite large, but they cost three times as much as the other ones. I would recommend you still trying to strawberry one. The standouts included the pear, grape, sweet potato, and chocolate crisp with marshmallow.
Great place for omiyage! They do need more staff, though. There was only a single lady taking all the orders and ringing them up. The line went almost to Pizza Hut. Handing out samples definitely helped. Reminded me of those cooking game apps which offered upgrades or perks to the patrons for waiting.
Very good mochi. I can see why it's so popular. Personally I'd recommend skipping the more traditional types of mochi, and ordering their fresh fruit-filled mochis which are much more unique and very very delicious. Cash only.
Really fresh, tasty mochi with so many flavor choices! Keep in mind that it takes a while for your order to be ready - but it’s worth the wait! Very unique experience to find such mochi craftsmanship outside Japan.
05/15/18: 4.5 out 5 - This review is simply based on eating the mochi from the Two Ladies Kitchen that was given to me by my sister-in-law. My wife's sister brought the mochi back to Portland, Oregon after spending some time on the Big Island. The mochi traveled well. Best of all, it tasted better than well. Each mochi still tasted fresh and looked amazing in its carton.Fortunately, my wife and I will heading to the Big Island with some family friends, so I will try it when it's more fresh. Like many of my other posts, I will update as well.
Very very popular fresh fruit mochi 🍓😍🍇 Pro tip: call in your order to avoid waiting in line and again waiting for them to make your order fresh
